What Blood Tests Can Help Evaluate Fatigue?
Common labs providers consider — thyroid, anemia, glucose, and vitamins.
Persistent fatigue warrants medical evaluation. Blood tests help identify treatable causes — though normal labs do not rule out sleep disorders, depression, or lifestyle factors.
Commonly considered tests: Complete blood count (anemia), comprehensive metabolic panel (electrolytes, kidney, liver), thyroid function (TSH), hemoglobin A1C (diabetes screening), vitamin D, B12, and iron studies when indicated.
Men's health overlap: Low testosterone may contribute to fatigue — included in the Men's Total Health panel.
NeuMed FHL: Panels from $139–$329 include many of these markers — see /functionalhealth/biomarkers/ and /shop/fhl/.
Important: Broad testing is not always necessary. Your provider orders tests based on history and exam — not every test for every patient.
