Seeking a Medical Technician to join our energetic and friendly team at NeuMed Modern Urgent Care located in the Houston Heights area.

Job Description
This position offers (12) 12 – hour shifts per month (3 per week) working collaboratively with other members of the health care team. The technician will assume independent responsibilities in the performance and oversight of X-rays services and basic lab equipment utilization.
The tech will also assist the practitioner with starting IV lines, perform EKGs as well as other supportive duties. On-site training will be available, but experience is preferred. Effective communication skills and pleasant bedside demeanor are especially important.
Supervising physician (board certified Emergency Medicine) and radiologist will be available during all operating hours. A Nurse Practitioner and front desk staff member will be on site at all times.
Qualifications
- Credentialed (or credentialing pending) by national certifying bodies with valid and current unencumbered license (LMRT, ARRT or equivalent)
- At least one year of full-time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting is a preferred
- Enjoys a fast-paced environment and can be a team player in a variety of supportive roles
Pay
$16.00 – $20.00 per hour
