Alena Sarabia, FNP

Since graduating from the University of Texas Health Science Center of Houston in 2018, Alena Sarabia has had the pleasure of providing patient care as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Beginning her FNP career at an Urgent Care in Liberty Hill, a small town north of Austin, TX. Here she obtained much experience in performing procedures….

Since graduating from the University of Texas Health Science Center of Houston in 2018, Alena Sarabia has had the pleasure of providing patient care as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Beginning her FNP career at an Urgent Care in Liberty Hill, a small town north of Austin, TX.

Here she obtained much experience in performing procedures. When an opportunity opened, she moved back to her hometown of Houston and continues to also work at a Family Practice in Katy, TX, where she has treated hundreds of patients.  In total, she has close to 10 years of experience in healthcare!

Alena is proud to have been part of NeuMed’s inaugural team of providers when the clinic opened in 2020. The opportunity to incorporate her traditional medical treatments and newer treatments, like IV Therapy, excites Alena and she is an avid supporter of the latter! She frequently utilizes IV Therapies to give herself a new wave of energy, especially after spending the weekends chasing her toddler boy Luke around the park! Alena is a new mother and has a two year old son and new baby son who was born in October 2021.

Before becoming a FNP, Alena graduated from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor in Belton, TX and worked as a Registered Nurse for five years at Methodist Medical Center, in Houston. She has experience working in every unit in the hospital, including Emergency Room. Alena became a FNP in order to expand her capability in treating and seeing patients. Alena has a passion for treating every patient with the highest respect and values. She incorporates her Christian values in treating patients, praying before every shift to ensure her role as FNP is of utmost value and she would practice at her highest ability. Alena has high standards for herself and looks forward to treating you!

Alena’s hobbies include reading books, exercising, and actively participating in her Catholic church’s groups. She cherishes her days with her husband, Austin, and their two sons Luke and Elijah!
